The “House of Stories” was inaugurated in Piazza Ravanusella, a bookcrossing station where it will be possible to exchange books for free. The book house was created thanks to the young “Ttt” (Tierra, techo, trabajo), Pietro Durante, creator of the initiative; Sophia Mazza and Sara Gallo.
The initiative is an integral part of the “Community youth incubators” program promoted as part of the “BeYou” project currently carried out by the community foundation of Agrigento and Trapani, as coordinator. BeYou is a project funded by the Erasmus+ program which aims to enhance the role of young people as key actors for social change and sustainable development in their communities. This initiative will be followed by another, on Sunday 5 May at 3.30 pm, “Bench Art”, a self-construction workshop during which seats will be created with recycled materials to be placed inside the new reading corner of Scaro Community, also in Piazza Ravanusella.
