Poggio Torriana: two books will be presented on Sunday. Authors Roberta Venturini and Matteo Sèlleri

At the Mulino Sapignoli Museum in Poggio Torriana, Sunday 5 May at 3.30 pm, the last unmissable appointment with Muse al Museo, a literary review dedicated to the female universe organized by the Friends of the Mulino Sapignoli Aps, with the patronage of the Municipality of Poggio Torriana and the patronage and support of Equal Opportunities of the Province of Rimini. Guests of this last appointment are Roberta Venturini and Matteo Sèlleri.

Roberta Venturini will present “Più forte della morte” where she will address the topic of family impositions.
Two children, she originally from the Swiss mountains and he from the Spanish ones, met on the golden sands of the Rimini beach at the beginning of the 1950s. Summer after summer, holiday after holiday, between one game and another, they grow up together, discovering that, once they grow up, they are in love. The families, however, thwart this love, resorting to every possible expedient to divide them. The girl’s parents will even go so far as to exercise real violence, both physical and psychological, towards her, unable to accept that one day she would abandon them to move to his country. They had already planned her life and had already chosen the man they wanted her to marry, without taking his wishes or her feelings into account.

Roberta Venturini she is a writer from Santarcangiolese. At just sixteen, she began working in the printing field, where she took the opportunity to broaden her general knowledge by giving up her dream of becoming a nurse due to economic constraints. Since 1987 she has dedicated herself full time to her daughter, disabled since her birth, for whom she has always written stories of various kinds. Since 2018 she has participated in several literary competitions, seeing the publication of more than thirty of her stories. In 2020 you published your first book, a fantasy entitled “The Dragon and the Butterfly”, with PAV Edizioni.

Matteo Sèlleri will present “When misfortunes arrive they are on a social outing”.

It is a moral debt absolved towards the mother, in the year in which she would have turned 100. It is an act of love, they are notes ordered by feeling, with an open heart.

A trilogy born from the collection of short stories, jokes, pseudo aphorisms, which the author invented and told to his mother on every possible occasion to alleviate her enormous depression and oppressive anxiety.

Speaking shamelessly about misfortunes means winning easily. Because you have to be serious to make people laugh.

Matteo Sèlleri, born in Bologna, a citizen of San Marino, lives in the Republic of San Marino. Member of the Order of Journalists of Emilia Romagna since 1994, he was among the members of the San Marino Information Council at the time of its establishment.

President of USGi – San Marino Union of Journalists and Photoreporters -, Vice President of ARGA Interregional Emilia Romagna, Marche, Umbria and RSM;

member of scientific committees of newspapers. He has collaborated with various publishing houses, especially with the “Il Sole 24 ore” group.

Several of his articles are cited and classified in Spanish and Argentine universities. He has interviewed famous authors and prominent figures for the blog “Tipi tosti”, drawn cartoons for monthly magazines in Bologna. Together with two friends he founded UNI.CO. ® Rural University, based in RSM.

He was a company director, co-owner of a private radio station, author and radio-television presenter, member of the Information Guarantor Authority of RSM. He has written eight books.

Appointment on Sunday 5 May at 3.30 pm with Roberta Venturini and Matteo Sèlleri. At the end of the event, a final toast with a small buffet and Case Marcosanti wines.
