“Hina di Avalon”: Laura Abozzi’s book arrives at Asinara

It’s called “Hina of Avalon. The awakening of the Queen” is the first book in the saga by debut author Laura Abozzi, published by Stefano Piroddi’s “La città degli Dei” publishing house (Cagliari). The volume will be presented on Sunday morning 28 April on the Asinara National Park island, in collaboration with the “Educando Asinara” business network.

A fantasy novel that can be defined as an alchemical fairy tale set in the mythical kingdom of Avalon: through a language rich in symbols, the growth process of the protagonist, Hina Pendragon, is narrated, who will be subjected to initiatory tests linked to the cult of the Mother Goddess in significant places between including the ancient island of Hercules (Asinara). It is a story focused on the awakening of the Soul, on the integration of the Shadow and on the recovery of the archetypes of the divine feminine, obscured by patriarchy even today. It is an invitation to search for one’s Grail in the labyrinths of the unconscious, to reconnect with Nature and to rediscover one’s Higher Self.

It is a journey of rebirth from the womb of the Great Mother, as new, whole and aware beings. In addition to the author Laura Abozzi, originally from Porto Torres, graduated in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology, nursery school teacher in Sassari and former exclusive guide of the Park and environmental educator, the publisher and writer Stefano Piroddi will take part in the presentation a speech on the theme of the book and Daniela Filigheddu who will dialogue with the author. We will leave with the Eolo motorboat at 8.30, from the Segni pier in Porto Torres and, in addition to the presentation of the book, the participants will take a guided walk along the Path of Memory in collaboration with the park guides of the Sealand Asinara cooperative.
