A book about Lunigiana edited by Marco Angella

The presentation of Marco Angella’s book entitled “La Lunigiana in 10 portraits” will be held on Friday 26 April at 6pm at the Ruffini Social Center in Santo Stefano Magra. The author will talk to Annalisa Pellegrini, librarian of the Municipality and organizer of the weekly meeting with authors in Santo Stefano. The book collects a series of interviews carried out by Angella and aimed at intellectuals who have influenced studies in the area, from researchers in history, ethnography, archaeology, anthropology, archival studies, art, philosophy and visual arts. Lunigiana is the underlying theme of this passionate book that investigates its identity soul. Marco Angella was born in Pontremoli in 1970 and graduated in Literature. Teacher, freelance journalist, photography and local history enthusiast, President of the Deputation of Homeland History for the Provinces of Parma, Pontremoli section. His local history research has been published in the Historical Archive for the Provinces of Parma, in Studi Lunigianesi, in the third Quaderno dell’emigrazione toscana, in the Giornale Storico della Lunigiana and in Nuovi Studi Livornesi, Memorie dell’Accademia Lunigianese Giovanni Cappellini, Il Porticciolo and News and history of the Val di Magra.
