Lodi, 80 of Pasqualino Borella’s “historic” photos on display

In today’s world the image takes on more and more value just as the work of the photojournalist represents a point of reference for journalism. We are aware of this at «il Cittadino»,

so much so that he immediately embraced the idea of Pasqualino Borella, doyen of Lodi photographers, a life spent for journalism: to create an exhibition to tell the story of the greats who passed through Lodi. The reference period goes from 1987 to 2023 and the exhibition is made up of 80 photographs, all by Pasqualino Borella, which appeared in newspapers and which tell a piece of the city. The most illustrious guest is certainly Pope John Paul II (in Lodi in 1992), but great names from politics, customs, sports and entertainment have also landed in the city. All captured by the lens of the omnipresent Borella, for us at «Cittadino» and for the entire world of information, the “legendary” Pasqualino. The exhibition can be visited in Lodi at the Bcc Centropadana headquarters (Corso Roma 100) on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 3pm to 7pm. Inauguration open to the public on Friday 10th May at 5.30pm. The event is organized by «il Cittadino» in collaboration with Bcc Centropadana.
