May is approaching: television schedules are destined to undergo changes, even important ones. And here we will soon say goodbye to the thirteenth edition of Next Anotherthe popular access prime time show on Canale5 hosted by Paolo Bonolis. According to the latest rumours, there will be two episodes, with a final one in prime time. Meanwhile, the host has silenced all the rumors about the alleged return to Rai.
When the thirteenth edition of Avanti un Altro closes
Summer is getting closer and closer, and so the shows that have kept us company up until now are heading to their natural conclusion, to then return next year. As reported by Davide Maggio, the last appointment with Paolo Bonolis’ game, the thirteenth edition of Next Anotherairs Sunday May 5, 2024.
The ending, however, matters a lot two episodes. That’s right: according to previews, the game ends its season in prime time, with one 50 minute episode aired later Very ducky at 9.25pm. Therefore, there will be two episodes: one at 6.45pm, and one in prime time. The pre-evening changes face from Monday 6 May 2024, when Gerry Scotti returns with The wheel of fortune. As usual, there will be reruns with the “top” moments of the season, such as Friday 3 and Saturday 4 May.
Paolo Bonolis remains at Mediaset: rumors about Rai denied
“Next year I’ll stay at Mediaset. I promised Pier Silvio Berlusconi that I would do another season of Next Another and I am a person of my word.” To the Corriere della SeraPaolo Bonolis put an end to the rumors about his return to Rai and, in particular, on the possible management of Sanremo Festival. After Amadeus’ farewell to state TV, there is a void that needs to be filled: the host has asserted himself in recent years and has brought Sanremo back to its origins, making it an interesting event for young people too.
But it won’t be Bonolis – at least, not for the moment – a fill the void left by Amadeus. Also to Hyenas a report on the total names of Sanremo 2025 was broadcast: the most likely name seems to be that of Carlo Contiwho would thus return to host the event (and, who knows, he could also return Maria De Filippi).
Bonolis’ decision to remain in Mediaset, in any case, comes after the interview given to The print in which he admitted to having rated one longer stop. The contract expires in June, but will be renewed, and so on Next Another will return (in 2023 there was talk of closing the program). “If it had been up to me I would have left two years ago. I only continued because if I stop I would compromise the existence of many people who work with me and have families. (…) I need new stimuli, but I lack the space and energy to imagine new projects. I feel the need for a break to rework my thoughts and my nature. Making TV means knowing how to capture the spirit of the time and I have to find myself in the spirit of this era.”
