Descriptive text here

It would have sexually abused of a little girl just over a year old. And to defend herself from her accusations, she initially blamed the dog for the bruises suffered by her little girl. The protagonist of this ugly story that comes from the United States (from York, to be precise) is a 28-year-old man, Steven Kyle Cugini, who ended up in handcuffs on charges of rape and aggravated assault. According to what the online version of the online newspaper reports Daily Mail, what brought the episode to light were the investigations conducted by the Pennsylvania police, following the report of the doctors who last Monday had found that the little girl had fractured the tibia and fibula of her left leg (as well as a series of wounds that would have been caused by abuse). Cousins, an ex-military man, initially attributed the injuries of the little girl 13 months earlier to an attack by the dog of the very young girl’s mother, then to diaper rash.

The victim’s mother initially believed him, but from some messages sent via her smartphone it emerges that she herself realized that something serious and anomalous must have happened and asked the man to account for it. According to what was reconstructed by the investigators, the woman had granted Cugini permission to bathe the little girl while she prepared dinner and the latter, after entering the bathroom, closed the door key-closed. What made her mother suspicious was the little girl’s screams, which at a certain point she would have started to cry. At that point, the child’s mother would have headed towards the room in question, knocking forcefully on the door and asking the man to open. It took him about ten seconds to respond and the shirt he was wearing was reportedly wet. The victim was then rescued and taken to hospital, where medical personnel noticed injuries attributable to rape.

The Lykens criminal investigation unit of the Pennsylvania State Police therefore intervened in the case: the agents immediately proceeded to question Cugini, with the latter initially denying any accusation, placing the blame on thepet. However, during the interrogation some inconsistencies in his version of events emerged. And at the end of the interrogation the man would have collapsed: he would have admitted his responsibilities. Following this, the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office approved the charges and the doors of the criminal justice system opened wide for Cugini. prison.

Waiting for further developments which may arrive soon.
