We asked the famous OpenAI chatbot to estimate the chances of victory of the songs competing for the European song festival. Based on reviews of specialized sites, artificial intelligence (AI) gave Angelina Mango a tie with the Swiss artist Nemo.

The premise is always the same: ChatGPT it is not a divination tool. He’s not even a music critic. In short, ask ChatGPT to predict who will win theEurovision 2024 to be held in the Swedish Malmö may seem crazy. But it isn’t. Thanks to its ability to read large quantities of lyrics and understand their meaning, we gave the generative artificial intelligence a long series of reviews for the 37 competing songs. We will reveal the secrets of the instructions we gave ChatGPT at the end, after the ranking. Meanwhile, what you will see here is the ranking created by the famous chatbot OpenAI for the songs of the European song festival.

How artificial intelligence created the leaderboard

There are three sites specializing in Eurovision from which we have collected reviews of the songs. Based on the texts we attached in our prompt, we asked ChatGPT to define the probability of victory of that specific song, however using a numerical value. In the end, the artificial intelligence returned, in addition to the song’s probability of winning, also a rating based on the reviews it received.

Who are the finalists of Eurovision 2024 and why Italy is already in the final with Angelina Mango

It could be a head-to-head race between Angelina Mango, the Italian singer who emerged victorious at the Sanremo Festival last February, and the Swiss artist Nemo. At the bottom of the table, there is little chance of victory San Marino, Moldova and Albania who have not received positive reviews from specialized sites and who therefore, according to ChatGPT, have less chance of seeing the podium.
