Bruganelli biased, Rosanna polemical

During the seventh episode of The Island of the Famousaired Monday 6 May on Canale 5 and conducted by Vladimir Luxuriasupported in the studio by commentators Sonia Bruganelli and Dario Maltesewe witnessed numerous arguments and the division of the castaways into two groups, in addition to theelimination of Marina Suma.

THE new leaders of the formations are Greta Zuccarello and Samuel Peron, who however lost his immunity after losing, almost voluntarily until he remained still at a certain point, the last challenge with the dancer. Now the contestants will have to start again from the beginning, without fire or benefits, but fortunately many surprises in the episode have rekindled their spirits, especially those of Joe Bastianich (he said he experiences emotions in a different way, because he has a closed character and the nature is solitary), Valentina Vezzali (they showed her a video in which she remembers her father, who passed away when she turned 13, with great love), and Edoardo Franco, Alvina and Edoardo Stoppa, who were able to embrace each other once again time the mothers and the wife. Furthermore, it seems that a small spark has struck between Artur and Khady, even if those directly involved, despite the obvious feeling, deny having a feeling that goes beyond friendship. At the end of the episode they ended up at televoting Rosanna Lodi, Samuel Peron and Artur Dainesechosen by the leader (here you can find all the nominations with reasons and the summary of the seventh episode)

Island of the famous, episode 6 May 2024: the tops

We give the first top to complicity between Alvina and Edoardo Franco’s mothers and Juliana Moreira, wife of Edoardo Stoppa, who together gave the public one of the best moments of the evening: despite the numerous tests faced, there was never a direct clash between the 3 women, on the contrary they always supported each other with a smile, putting themselves tested from start to finish for a week. And speaking of this moment, let’s then remember the test they had to face in front of all the castaways: the display cases containing the “live animals“, with Countess Azzolina who showed plenty of courage, Stefania who wanted to take Juliana’s place knowing of her fear and the latter who overcomes her phobia not easily: seeing them at work was wonderful.

Applause also for Dario Maltese which, despite today seeming like an incognito Alfonso Signorini (the proposal of a kiss between Khady and Artur), has proven to be above all parties, simply expressing his thoughts without letting himself be influenced by ties or anything else, something which Sonia Bruganelli certainly cannot do.

Passed with full marks Joe Bastianich and Aras Senol, because they are both getting involved on the Island. We are not talking about getting wood or lighting a fire, but about something more important: they are improving themselves day by day. Bastianich is doing it by opening up to the group, he himself who admitted that he is unable to express his emotions, but already telling others about himself, for those who close themselves off like him, is a big step forward; Aras for the willpower he puts into learning Italian: he is trying and it shows, but, as with all things, it takes time.

We want to give one last top to Vladimir Luxuria who, despite remaining stuck between obvious jokes and a conduct that was never totally spontaneous, made it clear that racism and insinuations about affairs – in this case – between castaways who have a family at home are not accepted in the slightest (in short, she blasted Rosanna for having said that between Samuel and Greta there would be a deeper feeling than a friendship), and she did so by speaking clearly, categorically and directly: she made herself heard and she did it in the best way possible for a just cause.

Island 2024: the flops

The first flop is for Sonia Bruganelli: she just isn’t able to be impartial and objective, and this was demonstrated by the numerous times she defended Greta – the two are such good friends that they spent holidays together – even when it wasn’t the case to do so. Speaking of objectivity, you talk about it a lot but then in the end you wonder “from what pulpit…”

Also rejected Marina Suma’s snooty attitude when Rosanna told her that her back pain is an excuse for not working and she replied that her criticisms don’t interest her because she “flies high”, thus insinuating that the cooking lover didn’t deserve her attention because in somehow inferior to her. How sad to even think this about a person, because – trivial but it is like that – everyone can make mistakes and she certainly, especially on this occasion, was no different. But we also give it a flop Rosanna Lodi for his polemical streak which in the long run would tire even the most patient person in the world. How boring: never a nice word, always and only criticism and arguments. And in any case, let’s face it, declaring that Marina’s back problem is fake is certainly not a good thing to do, even considering that she can’t know how she is actually shipwrecked. In that discussion, for us, they were both wrong.

Greta Zuccarello is the protagonist of the last of the worst moments of the evening, during which all her hypocrisy (and cunning) emerged: we discovered live that the dancer is always the first to open the coconut (and steal “other things”) without asking the leader for permission – a gesture that goes against the rules -, yet in the previous two episodes he attacked Khady for the food-gate (she was also wrong, we absolutely don’t doubt it), talking about respect for others. Furthermore, it seems that on the Island she doesn’t do much to help others (but she commands often and willingly) for “save your energy to pass the tests“, or at least this is what the other castaways think. We, based on what was said live, believe that the excuse of being tired – she sometimes uses it when she is asked to lend a hand – doesn’t hold up, because all the castaways they are, some more and some less, but luckily Bruganelli is always on his side…

We also didn’t appreciate the fact that some people get so many surprises while others have not yet been able to hug their loved ones, listen to a live video of them, or have any more chances to eat a bite (like Bastianich in the last episode). It is as if the will was to favor someone and leave someone else behind. An incorrect choice and above all disrespectful towards some people, because everyone on the island misses someone, or would like to eat as much as others. We give the last flop to Eleonoire Casalegno, not only because she is starting to be a bit intrusive, almost as if she wanted to be the presenter, but also because of her hostile attitude towards Sonia Bruganelli: you may not like a person, but making it obvious live is not a smart move , unless – we doubt – it is a way to increase the ratings. But are we sure that it is the right path?
