Descriptive text here

“Beyond everything, I want to talk to everyone.” It’s right, Michele Bravi, to always raise the bar as he managed with this new album, You What See When You Close Your Eyes, written while traveling through Europe passing through Paris, London, Amsterdam with an idea under his arm: the strong one and wanders about thinking thoughts, investigating memory and imagination. «I like research» he explains with his delicate way of speaking, often embellished with soft images which however envelop precise ideas. Michele Bravi is someone with clear ideas and in these thirteen songs, from Viaggio nel tempo to Atlas of lovers, there are three musical chapters: The gaze, The image, The iride. This time the pages of Oliver Sacks, the man who made neurology pop, acted as a common thread for the notes and words: «Six years ago they gave me his Musicofilia – Stories about music and the brain, but not the ‘I read straight away, I’m not a fan of non-fiction. But when I read it he enlightened me.”
At this stage of his story, Michele Bravi, not even thirty years old, has accumulated enough experience to keep his compass straight without distractions. He won And now he is on the jury of Amici with Cristiano Malgioglio and Giuseppe Giofrè: «With Giuseppe we have known each other for years while Cristiano was a great human and personal discovery: we found a good understanding, he makes me listen to the two musical things and I listen to mine , a nice exchange. Plus there’s Maria De Filippi who gives me “lessons in naturalness”…».
In short, he is a new Michele Bravi who «pushed away certain people who weren’t good for me» and now shares text and words with Carla Bruni in French Malumore, a sophisticated song, even too much so, but placed very well in the middle of the album: «I written in French and I sent it to Carla, since I’m a big fan of hers, she immediately falls in love, comes to Milan and we register it immediately in a room at the Grand Hotel et de Milan.” But what is that song about? “It talks about how insensitivity is often a shield to hide fragility.” It has a strange effect to hear them sharing the same score, as if two apparently distant worlds suddenly found themselves complicit: “He has an incredible magnetism, I was amazed at his naturalness.” If you then add that Giuliano Sangiorgi signs it to him I had known you before and the album cover is by Mauro Balletti, the picture is complete: «It’s the perfect image of what I’m talking about, it’s no coincidence that as a child I stared spellbound at his iconic album covers. Mina’s records”. Rare album that can be heard at the Dal Verme in Milan on May 12th and at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.

More than concerts, they will be representations of music and thoughts.
