After the very chat disqualification which ended his brief stint at The Island of the Famous (didn’t even last a week), Francesco Benigno he returned to Italy and told the story his truth about what happened in Cayos Cochinos. The Sicilian actor had been officially removed from the reality show hosted by Vladimir Luxuria for inappropriate behavior prohibited by the regulations, but according to him things would have gone very differently. From there a series of vicissitudes aimed at began hinder the participation of Francesco Benigno a The Island of the Famous 2024. According to the Palermo actor, in fact, the production would have retraced his steps and would have put him in difficulty beforehand unlikely clauses (“Since I don’t know how to swim, they made me write in black and white that I always had to wear a life jacket when I entered the water and that if I drowned without a jacket they wouldn’t pay”) then with tampered swabs (“I tested positive for Covid, in the end I made an acronym on a swab so they couldn’t replace it and by chance I tested negative with that”) and even with doubtful tetanus vaccines: “I do it, I feel terrible, I have high blood pressure, I was having a collapse, an anaphylactic shock, they put my life at risk“.
According to Benigno, in short, it would have been a matter of “an attempt to blow up the contract, but they failed“. After just five days, however, the disqualification: “The producer tells me that they have seen the images. First I argued with Maité, then with Peppe, then with Artur and they suppose that one day I could go beyond verbal expressions. I asked them to play the video or at least the audio with the beeps, but nothing“.
