«The third and final episode of the Forte e Chiara program will not be broadcast on Rai1». With this press release on Thursday 19 April, Rai announces the stop to the programme. The project, conceived with experimental purposes, although conveying important and original values, did not however produce the desired results, explains a note from Viale Mazzini. The management thanks Chiara Francini who confirmed that she is a great artist by accepting the challenge of bringing this idea of hers to the prime time of Rai 1.

“Ladies, gentlemen and everything in between, we didn’t go easy. Sorry if we were too strong, like a gintonic without tonic.” Chiara Francini thus commented on Rai’s decision to close its show Forte e Chiara an episode early. «With Forte and Chiara – underlined the actress – we tried to put together in the same show Cardinals and war correspondents, clichés about women and porn stars, ballets with feathers and stories of children in a concentration camp, songs from cartoons animated and Drag queens. What will be aired in its place
Therefore tonight Rai will broadcast a film by Riccardo Milani with Paola Cortellesi and Roul Bova at 9.30pm on Rai 1 instead of Forte e Chiara. Serena Bruno is a brilliant architect of Abruzzo origins who found success in London, but decides to return convinced that she can continue her career in the Bel Paese. Things don’t go as hoped: the woman is unable to find a job that matches her skills and she finds herself doing the most disparate jobs. Serena immediately clashes with the chauvinism of the sector, she is not taken seriously as a female architect and is often mistaken for the assistant of a male architect. The casual meeting with Francesco, a divorced gay man, and the consequent friendship with the man pushes her to implement a plan: pretend to be a couple of architects so as to be able to conquer an ambitious project, the redevelopment of the Corviale district of Rome, one of the symbols of the degradation of the capital’s suburbs.
