After the last episode of the Evening, the dancer Gaia was eliminated. But has the relationship between Midas and Gaia ended definitively?
During this edition of talent show “Friends of Maria De Filippi”, some students became closer than others and love broke out between them. In particular, two couples were formed inside the house where the contestants of the program spend their daily lives.
The first is the one formed by the singer Petit and the dancer Marisol, while the second is that of the singer Mida and the dancer Gaia. However, shortly before the start of the Evening phase of “Amici”, one of the two relationships almost completely collapsed. But who were the protagonists of this breakup?
Gaia leaves “Amici”: the emotional and mature farewell to Midas
As mentioned previously, shortly before the start of the second phase of the program, one of the two couples went into crisis. In fact, Gaia and Midas understood that they could no longer be together as well as before. The problems arose from the fact that the dancer asked the singers to find more moments to spend quality time together.
However, the feeling was that, on Midas’ part, the actions were not completely natural but almost forced. Despite her great feelings, Gaia still left the singer free to do as she believed and felt best. Midas asked the dancer for time to reflect.
Although Gaia was initially in favor of a break from the relationship, after a few days she informed Midas that she didn’t like that situation of uncertainty at all. The dancer preferred to know immediately whether the singer still wanted to be with her or not.
All this back and forth seemed useless to her. Therefore, she Midas decides to close permanently. Obviously, Gaia takes it very negatively and, over the course of the various weeks of the Evening, she has continuously tried to get closer to Midas, but to no avail.
Over the last few weeks, the dancer Gaia had a serious knee injury that would no longer allow her to dance. Therefore, she should have left the program. However, her dance teacher, Raimondo Todaro, proposed that she stay on the bench and find a dancer who could replace her until she recovered.
Despite the great commitment and enthusiasm of the new dancer Aurora, who joined temporarily, Gaia’s career did not last long.
At the end of the last evening episode of “Amici”, in fact, the dancer Gaia and her substitute Aurora ended up in the final ballot against the singer Sarah. The jury, made up of Michele Bravi, Cristiano Malgioglio and Giuseppe Giofrè, ultimately decided to eliminate the dancer.
All the teammates and Raimondo Todaro were deeply disappointed. After hearing the verdict, Gaia wanted to take the time to say goodbye to all her friends and traveling companions: in particular, Mida.
With the singer, Gaia certainly demonstrated great maturity. But what did they say to each other? Will their relationship continue after “Friends”? Gaia spoke to Midas with an open heart, but also with great awareness of their situation. The dancer wanted to thank Midas because their relationship was the first ever for her.
The moments they spent together were precious and he will keep them in his heart forever. Leaving the house, Gaia wanted to wish Midas that all his dreams and wishes come true and to be able to overcome the difficulties that one carries within.
