After an initial ironic parenthesis on the surname Valditara, on 21 April Luciana Littizzetto began her usual Sunday ‘letter’ to ‘Che tempo che fa’, addressed this time to the Minister of Education and Merit invoked as the one who “believes that humiliation is a fundamental factor for the growth of children”, underlining the importance of school. “I am writing to you as a former student and former teacher – said Littizzetto – and I am the first to say that your ministry should have the highest budget of all”. And instead “school is not a priority for our country, it never has been. For missiles, bombs and drones the money is always found, for schools it mysteriously disappears.”
After which the Turin comedian criticized the announcement of the minister Giuseppe Valditara on the rule to prohibit the closure of schools for holidays not recognized by the State, as happened at the Iqbhal Masih comprehensive institute in Pioltello (Milan). “It’s a shame, because the principals and teachers work every day to create inclusion – continued Littizzetto -. After all, what is the point of school autonomy if a school cannot adapt to the needs of the children who attend it?”.
Luciana Littizzetto then referred to the proposal on the ceiling for foreign students per class. “The only roof you have to think about is the real one, that of the schools, which are in total disrepair.
