Public TV overturns the entire schedule: here’s what will happen to two very popular dramas like Mina Settembre and Don Matteo.
The summer period is approaching and as usual Rai programming also changes. This year too, therefore, the public television schedule will be subject to changes, with various dramas that will be shown again to the public.
The changes will concern both prime time and the afternoon slot. In addition to repeats, there will also be space for confirmations, such as that of the new edition of Tim Summer Hits which will be broadcast in the evening slot, however no longer on Rai 2 but on Rai 1.
We were talking about the reruns destined to air this summer. Among the titles programmed by Rai, two in particular stand out, very well known and loved by viewers: Mina Settembre (with Serena Rossi) and the old seasons of Don Matteo (with Terence Hill). Here’s when the two beloved series will be revived during the summer.
Rai, schedule upset: here’s what will happen to Don Matteo and Mina Settembre
Don Matteo and Mina Settembre therefore return in reruns with the change in Rai programming for the summer. Rai 1’s summer schedule will offer viewers the revival of Don Matteo in the daytime slot. The fiction with Terence Hill will replace The Good Time. The old episodes of the priest-detective will be broadcast starting from June, from approximately 2pm to 4pm.
There will be no more space to follow for the new episodes of Six Sisters: the Spanish soap was canceled from the programming and transferred to Rai Premium. Among the planned repeat dramas in prime time there will instead be the second season of Mina Settembrethe fiction starring Serena Rossi as a social worker torn between the problems of others and her sentimental situation.
The third season of the series with Serena Rossi and Giuseppe Zeno is expected in the 2024/2025 season. In the meantime, Rai will refresh the public’s memory by re-proposing the episodes of the second season. In prime time there will also be room for replicas by Vincenzo Malinconicothe television series with Massimiliano Gallo which in its first run had reached an average of almost 4 million viewers.
Furthermore, the new edition of Tim Summer Hits will be broadcast in the summer, the musical show that has enjoyed considerable success in prime time on Rai 2 in the last two years. The four episodes will be broadcast on 3, 7, 17 and 24 July at 9.30 pm. Andrea Delogu should be confirmed as host. Stefano De Martino could then return. Starting from the 27th day there will also be the second edition of Noosthe scientific dissemination program hosted by Alberto Angela.
