Four interventions by the Fire Brigade in one afternoon –

The Avellino Fire Department during the afternoon of yesterday, June 25, were engaged in four interventions regarding as many road accidents that occurred on the Irpinia roads. The first occurred at 16:00 in the municipality of Venticano in the hamlet of Castello del Lago where the team from the Grottaminarda detachment intervened for an accident involving two cars. In the violent impact, two people were injured, a man and a woman, who, once extracted from the cockpits of their cars, were entrusted to the 118 health workers who intervened and provided for their transport to the hospital. The same team, immediately after 16:00, intervened in the municipality of Frigento on the SS 303, where a car skidded and overturned. The 51-year-old female driver from Guardia Dei Lombardi was trapped in the passenger compartment and after being extracted, she was handed over to the 118 paramedics who transported her to the hospital in Ariano Irpino for medical treatment. At 6:40 p.m., a team from the Avellino headquarters intervened in Manocalzati near the municipal stadium, where a car skidded and overturned. In this case too, the female driver was injured and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
