Ray Stevenson, famous British actor, died this morning at the Rizzoli hospital in Ischia due to an illness.
The actor had been on the island for a few days shoot the film «Cassino in Ischia“, directed by Frank Ciota. In the film he played Nic Cassino, an American action movie actor.

As for his private life, the actor has been married to actress Ruth Gemmell until 2005 and after the divorce he was linked to the Italian anthropologist Elisabetta Caraccia with whom he had three children.
Biography
George Raymond known as “Ray Stevenson” was born in Lisburn, May 25, 1964 and died May 22, 2023. From a very young age he has been passionate about acting, for this reason, after completing his studies, at the age of twenty-five he decides to try acting. He attended the Bristol Old Vic Theater School obtaining his degree.
Success came in 2005 when he participated in the television series Rome, playing Tito Pullo produced by BBC/Hbo. Two other well-known roles have been in action horror Outpost (2008) and as the comic book hero The Punisher / Frank Castle in Punisher: War Zone (2008).
In 2011 he played Volstagg in the film Thor, reprized role in sequels Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017), and Porthos in The Three Musketeers.
