Since the early hours of this afternoon, around 2pm, the firefighters have been working in via Trionfale near the Ottavia station with the 8A team and the CRRC. For safety reasons, some families in adjacent buildings were evacuated. Chaos on the Rome-Viterbo line with canceled and delayed trains. Roads closed in the capital and bus lines 546, 998 and 999 diverted.

The alarm went off, the firefighters and the police arrived. The firefighters are still working on the faulty pipe which turns out to be high pressure. The duty officer is also present with them.

Traffic disruption. Trains running between Monte Mario and La Storta on the Trenitalia Rome-Viterbo line are suspended. In particular, the regional train REG 23276 to Bracciano was cancelled at San Pietro.

While the intervention of the firefighters is underway, the station technicians have also taken action to allow the regular resumption of traffic, as reported on the Trenitalia website at 3.28pm. Via Casal del Marmo and via Trionfale closed, temporarily closed also the road between the Grande Raccordo Anulare intersection and via Ipogeo degli Ottavi in ​​both directions.
