The accident
The toll was heavy in a road accident which occurred this afternoon on the Sava Fragagnano with one dead and four injured, one of whom was seriously transported under code red to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto.
The one who lost his life was a 28-year-old from Taranto who occupied the passenger seat of a van exchanged with another van. Another passenger who was traveling with the victim was also seriously injured. A car was also involved which was fortunately parked without passengers on board.
The Carabinieri are working on the dynamics, which are not yet clear, and are on site with the firefighters who intervened to extract the injured who remained trapped.
