And 16 year old boy lost his life last night in a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred on the road connecting Buccino to Sicignano degli Alburni. The boy was returning home from Sicignano of the Alburni aboard his scooter when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he lost control of the vehicle and fell disastrously to the ground.
Still in shock from the incident, some friends of the 16-year-old who were with him at the time of the accident immediately alerted the emergency services. An ambulance and a 118 medical car arrived on the scene and gave the boy first aid. His condition appeared very serious right from the start and, due to the trauma he suffered in the impact, he was rushed to hospital. at the Cardarelli hospital in Naples.
