It was presented today, in the Region’s Trasparenza room Liguriathe new training course for mechatronics technicians of car repairs.
The initiative is organized by Cnos-Fap Liguriain collaboration with Autocom, thanks to funding from the Region under the tender “Train to employ“.
“Every new course that starts is a source of great satisfaction– explains the regional councilor for Training and Orientation Marco Scajola -. The close collaboration with training institutions, such as Cnos-Fap, is allowing us to introduce hundreds of young people into the world of work through the various open calls. With ‘Train to employ’ we have allocated 5 million euros, thanks to the European Social Fund, with the obligation to hire at least 60% of the students who complete the course. The one for mechatronic technicians will allow employment for over 70% of the enrolled students. Our training offer is not merely in itself, but strongly linked to companies, to the needs of the territory and therefore to work“.
The course in question will start in the month of September and will be dedicated to young people aged 17 to 40the. I am 600 hours of lessons are expected of which 420 theoretical and laboratory courses and 180 internships at the project partner companies.
73% of those who finish the course will be hired, thanks to the collaboration with Autocom, in one of these companies
“Our mission has always been to include, train and emancipate people from the condition of socio-economic hardship – explains the president of Cnos-Fap Liguria don Maurizio Lollobrigida-. The course to which we refer aims to qualify professional figures capable of working within a car dealership maintenance workshop as mechatronic car repair technicians, a constantly evolving profession of great relevance in the current market. Our commitment extends to guaranteeing training that responds to the increasingly advanced needs of the automotive sector, which is experiencing one of the greatest technological, organizational and economic revolutions in its history”.
