Change at the top of the foundation Its mechatronics company from Lazio. Miriam Diurni is the new president and takes the place of Maurizio Stirpe, who rightfully remains on the board of directors as founder. The Higher Mechatronic Technical Institute of Lazio Academy was born in 2019, from the need of Lazio companies to strengthen technical-specialist training in the mechanical and mechatronic field and to develop skills strictly related to the professional needs expressed by companies for the development of the competitiveness of the territory, in recent years it has favored the employment of young people who have attended the two-year post-diploma courses.
There are two addresses for which the new call for applications is open for the next academic year: higher technical diploma for advanced mechatronic design and production and higher technical diploma for industrial automation and robotics.
«A special thanks goes to the members of the Foundation – declared Maurizio Stirpe – who in recent years have supported the project and made sure that it achieved success beyond all expectations. Today the Foundation has 89 members including institutions, schools, universities and companies and if we have grown so much so far, for the future we need to think about consolidation, always maintaining high attention. All my support goes to the new President for the work she is ready to do, I am convinced that she will do the best she can, for the kids, for the companies and for the territory.”
«I am honored for this assignment – commented Miriam Diurni – the ITS Mechatronics of Lazio is a project that enhances the entire territory. It is a flagship created to connect the world of companies with that of young people, giving them a job opportunity and confidence in the future. We must focus on young people. I also thank President Maurizio Stirpe for his work and dedication to this project, we hope to be able to do even better in the future.”
