Peace made between Fedez and Codacons. After years spent with barbs and complaints, president Carlo Rienzi and the rapper managed to find a meeting point. The two have announced a sensational initiative together which seals a “new beginning” between them in the name of solidarity. Today the president of Codacons, Carlo Rienzi and Fedez will meet to officially announce a collaboration aimed at supporting the community of Taranto, still affected by the devastating effects of the industrial pollution of the former Ilva
The announcement
The announcement comes directly from Fedez and the consumer association in a joint note. The collaboration between the rapper and Codacons comes after years of battles in court for defamation. Rienzi and Fedez seem to be intent on burying the hatchet for a good cause, that of pollution in Taranto, in the hope that it will be the first of numerous charitable works together.
The conference

The latest legal battle
The peace between Fedez and Codacons comes one month after the last legal battle where the rapper prevailed. The story dates back to 2020, when Federico Lucia accused the consumer association of using misleading advertising banners on its Covid website to obtain funds (“communication error” similar to that committed by his ex-wife Ferragni). Carlo Rienzi sued Fedez for defamation and he appeared in the courtroom in Rome to give his version of the facts, before the judge decided whether to send him to trial or not. A choice that turned out to be a winning one, given that: «It went very well, the prosecutor asked for no proceedings to proceed». A happy ending that led to the start of a beneficial collaboration, the one with the inhabitants of Taranto.
