Representatives of regional, national and European institutions and of the economic and social parts of the Umbria Region will be present
The Monitoring Committee of the PSR Umbria 2014-2022 and the Monitoring Committee of the CSR for Umbria 2023-2027 meet on Thursday 20 June 2024 at the Hotel Valle in Assisi in the presence of representatives of the EU Commission.
Contribute to the construction of a regional agriculture capable of generating value and development and continue with a growth strategy that guarantees vitality to the rural areas of Umbria. This and more will be discussed tomorrow 20 June 2024, at the Hotel Valle di Assisi in via S. Bernardino Da Siena, in Santa Maria degli Angeli, on the occasion of the Surveillance Committee of the PSR Umbria 2014-2022 and the Monitoring Committee of the Rural Development Complement (CSR) for Umbria 2023-2027.
This is an important moment of comparison and reflection on the two European agricultural programs: the first, of the Umbria Rural Development Program 2014-2022, currently being concluded, and the second, of the Rural Development Complement for Umbria 2023-2027 started last year.
At the center of the debate are fundamental issues for the primary sector such as financial instruments to support agricultural and agri-food businesses and breeders, the presentation of newly activated tenders, promotion and support actions for the value chains of our territory. Representatives of the regional, national and European institutions and of the economic and social parts of the Umbria Region will be present who formally make up the Surveillance Committee of the PSR Umbria and the Monitoring Committee which, among their tasks, have that of meeting on an annual basis to monitor the implementation of the respective Programs and the progress made in achieving their final targets. Program Manger Emanuel Jankowski will be present for the European Commission.
