The photographers

Many travels, through photography, of Carlo Bonazza, class of ’52, photographer, graphic designer and photography teacher. He has produced research and image books on the places, the landscape and the transformations of his land. He has collaborated for a long time with the Archive of popular traditions of the Maremma and is a founding member and former president of the Photography and Territory Association.

The photographer’s gaze Giovanni Rossetti, from Grosseto, born in ’42: a background in graphics, up to oil-palette knife painting, (he boasts 18 personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad which earned him many awards), he was also an art academic at the Tiberina in Rome and then arriving at professional photography. He has several publications to his credit, such as “Prima che la memoria discolori”, “Maremma fra cielo e terra” and, together with Ranieri Mantovani, “An intelligent holiday”. “Before the memory even fades”, published by Innocenti, it is the latest book featuring photographic shots that enhance the charm and identity of the Maremma, of the faces, of the muzzles of the animals, of the hills, of the sea and of the villages.

Enrico Genovesi, born in ’62, from Cecina, he has been a photographer since 1984. He has dedicated himself mainly to social reporting on Italian stories which, in addition to having been published in various magazines, have had editorial outlets for numerous public bodies, including the Ministry of Justice, Local Health Authority, partnerships with the European Union. He collaborated with the historic agency “Grazia Neri” (the first Italian photographic agency in Milan) and, until 2012, was represented by Emblema photoagency. His latest published work is “Nomadelfia An oasis of fraternity”, a photographic book with textual contributions edited by Franco Arminio (poet, writer), Giovanna Calvenzi (photo editor), Sergio Manghi (sociologist).
