Maturity, starting tomorrow with an Italian theme

The high school leaving exam begins tomorrow for 526,317 students. It starts at 8.30 and starts with the first test, identical in all institutes and with a maximum duration of six hours. The Italian theme can be chosen from 7 different tracks proposed by the ministry. The next day, again from 8.30, will be followed by a second written test, specific to the disciplines that characterize the course of study. In the new professional institutes (Legislative Decree 61/2017), the test is based on skills and fundamental thematic cores of direction, rather than on specific disciplines. The subjects of the second test were announced in January: for the classical high school the Greek version was released, while the scientific students will face the mathematics test. A third written test is also planned, which will be held on Tuesday 25 June only in some study areas: EsaBac, EsaBac techno sections, sections with international option, schools of the autonomous region of Valle d’Aosta, of the autonomous province of Bolzano and schools with Slovenian teaching language and Slovenian/Italian bilinguals from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Italy, Arezzo, June 22, 2022 : Italy high school maturity exams 2022. Piero della Francesca artistic high school, first written test of the high school exams. After 2 years of suspension in Italy we return to do the written test and there is no obligation to wear an anti-Covid mask. For everyone there is a final interview with an interdisciplinary discussion of the student in front of a commission. The interview begins with a starting point chosen by the commission and allows students to present a short report or a multimedia work on the PCTO experience (paths for transversal skills and orientation) carried out during their studies.
Among the new features introduced is the “Student’s Masterpiece”, a personal document in which to report all the skills acquired over the five years of high school. It is an element that is part of the E-Portfolio, that is, that digital container, born with the orientation reform envisaged by the Pnrr, in which the students’ academic career is present, and where they themselves must insert the information that can enhance them . The work will not be the subject of the state exam interview and will not be included directly in the student’s CV, which the Commission takes into account when carrying out the interview. The final grade for obtaining the diploma is determined by the score obtained in the written tests, in the oral interview and by the school credits accumulated in the last three years of school. The overall grade is expressed in hundredths and divided as follows: up to 40 points for school credits, up to 20 points for the first written test, up to 20 points for the second written test and up to 20 points for the interview. The commission has the right to assign an additional bonus of up to 5 points. The maximum score that can be achieved is 100, with the possibility of obtaining honors, while the minimum score to pass the exam is 60/100.(9Colonne) (redm)
