The ninth edition of the Valle Scrivia Expo has been inaugurated: until Sunday 16 June, three days of events, shows and meetings in the Green Area of Casella and experiences to discover the tourist attractions and typical food and wine of all the municipalities of the valley, from Isola of the Canton in Montoggio passing through Vobbia, Crocefieschi, Ronco Scrivia, Busalla, Savignone, Valbrevenna and, naturally, Casella itself, the fulcrum of the exhibition which returns eleven years after the last edition.
The event was introduced yesterday by the forum for the approval of the metropolitan strategic plan organized at the headquarters of the Caselle Green Cross by the Metropolitan City of Genoa itself, the main promoter of the Expo, in which representatives of the Ministry of the Environment, the Liguria Region, Confindustria, Chamber of Commerce, Ire, Anci and partner companies.
The Casella exhibition area will also be open to the public today, Saturday 15th, and tomorrow, Sunday 16th June from 10am to 11pm. Bar service every day from 10am with granitas, crêpes and sandwiches and mostardella provided by the Pro Loco of Busalla and Casella. Restaurant with typical local menu (ravioli, tagliolini, trofie, polenta, asado, grilled ham, sausage, chips, tomatoes, peperonata, desserts) and food stands “Pizzeria al 29” and “Camion Truck Farinata” open on Fridays from 7pm to 9.30pm, Saturday and Sunday from 12.30pm to 2pm and from 7pm to 9.30pm
Among the many events scheduled, for which please refer to the complete program which is continuously updated on the official website www.expovallescriva.it, after the comic-cultural show by Andrea Di Marco and Pier Guido Quartero last night, the Medieval Dinner of Sunday evening with themed menu and entertainment, organized by the Corte dei Fieschi association, both at the Casella Green Area (cost of dinner 30 euros, reservations required by calling 346 318 8829).
