Everything is ready for the 2024 summer forest fire campaign of the Agricultural University of Tarquinia – this was reported by the Councilor for the Environment Alessandro Sacripanti who prepared the meeting and the monitoring plan to combat fires on the heritage of the body that counts on the territory over 2,500 hectares of forest.
The initiative took place at the Tarquinia Agricultural University in the presence of President Alberto Riglietti with the participation of the Fire Brigade, Local Police, volunteers from the AEOPC, the Municipal Group of Allumiere with Alfonso Superchi, the Volo Sportivo Association and the officials of the Institution.
“This year too, a monitoring of the territory has been planned to protect our woods in the summer period considered to be at greatest fire risk. The meeting aims to extend a culture of prevention to defend the environment and the forests as an interest of the entire community. “We are convinced that the commitment of the Agricultural University – continues Councilor Sacripanti – will be important in the event of a fire being sighted. Words of satisfaction from the President of the organization Alberto Riglietti: “The protection of our forests is a priority, and prevention initiatives like these are also important to raise awareness in the community of these issues”.
