In the evocative setting of Udine, Codroipo and Villa Russiz of Capriva del Friuli, a new cultural and artistic event is born, destined to leave its mark on the Friulian summers: Futurible. Presented today during a press conference at the FVG Region, this innovative festival promises to explore the futures that emerge in the present through a vibrant dialogue between culture, contemporary art and social visions.

A laboratory of ideas and experiments

At the center of attention, Futurible it is configured as a real laboratory of ideas. With named meetings “future talk” on topics such as sustainable development, transpolitics and technomagic, the festival offers a platform to explore the frontiers between past and future. THE workshops and the artistic installationstogether with the innovative experiential laboratories ofHappiness Campspan a broad spectrum of disciplines including theatre, performance, neuroscience and contemporary philosophy.

A celebration of culture and community

Futurible it was conceived as a tribute to the rich culture of the region, blending ancient traditions with futuristic visions. As underlined by Alessandro Rinaldi of Dmav, the festival aims to become a “permanent laboratory of cultural dissemination”, a bridge between the historical roots of the territory and the visions projected towards the future. The support of the FVG Region and numerous public and private partnerships underlines the importance of this event for the local social and cultural fabric.

An exploration of new frontiers

Mario Anzil, Vice President of the FVG Region, highlighted how Futurible represents not only an opportunity to explore new cultural perspectives, but also an invitation to draw new boundaries. The festival aims to open “sun-flooded streets” for the young guests of the Elvine family home, celebrating their possibility of a bright future through initiatives such as the mural dedicated to Biagio Marin.

Featured programming and events

The program of Futurible unfolds among the different locations in Friuli, with significant moments such as the Future Talks dedicated to the future of the wine sector, the Happiness Camp workshops focused on personal and collective happiness, and live performances that blend music and visual art. The Villa Russiz in Capriva del Friuli will be the beating heart of the festival on 28 and 29 June, hosting theater workshops, neuroscientific workshops and discussions on Afrofuturism and technomagic.

Closing, Futurible is configured as a beacon of hope and creativity in the cultural panorama of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
