In local elections last year a new Mayor was elected in several municipalities in the province of Imperia. Among these, the city of Ventimiglia has also decreed its first citizen, Flavio Di Muro.
Over a year has passed since May 30th and, last night, the Fort Annunziata it became the stage for the public event organized by the intemelia administration for celebrate this first milestone.
In the presence of citizens and the interim President of the Liguria Region Alessandro Pianathe entire council told i achievements achieved and spent a few words for i projects still nearing completion: from the safety until to public Workspassing through the tourism and its remarkable 14% increasethe mayor carried out a detailed budget.
“We have so much beauty and potentialbut we don’t know how to exploit them: this is the challenge which we set ourselves not for the next four years of mandate, but for this summer“, he explained to his fellow citizens. “We will convince those who come to Ventimiglia to return because it will be a beautiful, clean city suitable for everyone.”
Going over the various construction sites concluded and sometimes those still open, Flavio Di Muro touched on important points for the people of Ventimiglia: the Twiga of Benjamin Bay, Via Due Caminithe migratory situation and the catwalk.
The Mayor reassured those present, suggesting that within the next four years the work will be usable and confident: “I know that all of you want to know when our walkway will be rebuilt and completed and, for this reason, I can assure you that it will be this administration that will inaugurate it.”
Before leaving the floor to the councilors Marco Agosta, Serena Calcopietro, Milena Raco, Domenico Calimera and Adriano CatalanoFlavio Di Muro expressed his opinion one last time ultimate intent for the cityclaiming to be proud to administer it.
“We will give an image of Ventimiglia so that he can come back greatbut above all so that we citizens can define ourselves again honored to be from Ventimiglia.”
