Michael Mosley disappeared on Wednesday around 1.30pm after leaving Agios Nikolaos beach for a walk on the Greek island of Symi, where he was on holiday with his wife. Surveillance cameras caught him in town before climbed the hill along a path sheltering with an umbrella. The last images of the man show him walking down a slope before disappearing behind a wall.
The TV presenter and doctor was in fact filmed by a closed-circuit camera in a restaurant on the beach while He stumbles for a few minutes before getting up again and carefully make his way down a slope near a perimeter fence before disappearing from sight. The hypothesis is that she got lost and continued to go around the fence before falling where her body was found face up in an area not visible from the beach but only from the sea.

His body was finally found on Sunday, four days later by the manager of a bar after the island’s mayor saw something near the bar’s fence from the sea and alerted the staff. A police source told the BBC that Michael Mosley had been dead “for several days”.
The place of discovery
“He almost made it,” Mosley’s wife, Dr. Clare Bailey, said: “He made an incredible climb, took the wrong path and collapsed where he couldn’t easily be seen by the vast team of rescuers who were looking for him.” According to local media, the day before a search and rescue helicopter had flown over that very area but had not noticed him.
Dr Mosley’s time of death is placed at around 4pm on the day he disappeared. The exact cause of death will now have to be ascertained by the post-mortem examination, the final result of which is expected after a toxicological and histological examination.
