From 17 June the works for the redevelopment of the water and gas networks in Forlì in via Gorizia will begin

Coinciding with the end of the school term, work will begin on June 17th for the laying of new water and gas pipelinesedited by Inrete Distribuzione Energia, the company of Hera Group which manages the natural gas distribution business, in via GoriziaIn the San Benedetto neighborhood of Forlì.

The network redevelopment interventions will affect the stretch between the roundabout of via Monte San Michele and via Lughese and will lead to the renewal of approximately 800 m of pipes and the replacement of over 45 user connections.

The works will involve the entire roadway and vehicular traffic will be prohibited, with the exception of emergency vehicles.

During the construction site, which will advance in sections of 100 meters at a time to minimize inconvenience to traffic, access to alternative roads will be guaranteed in the following parallel streets: Monte Pasubio, Monte Cismon, Monte Sei Busi, Bainsizza, Carso, Domokos and Edolo .

Changes to bus lines

As regards scheduled public transport, the route of urban line 8 will be flexibly adapted to the various stages of progress of the works, trying to minimize inconvenience for residential areas.

During the closure phase of the section of via Gorizia between via Monte San Michele and via Monte Pasubio, the line will be diverted to via Cadore, confirming the terminus of via Schio but skipping the three stops of via Gorizia (Monte Pasubio, Carso and San Benedetto ) and that of via Lunga.

When the closure affects the stretch between via Monte Pasubio and via Domokos, line 8 will run along via Monte Pasubio, Scaldarancio, Valstagna and Domokos: two pairs of temporary stops will be positioned along the deviation in via Scaldarancio and via Valstagna, replacing the two stops Monte Pasubio and Carso.

Finally, during the closure of the section of via Gorizia between via Domokos and via Lunga, the buses will be diverted to via Domokos and Val Posina and the service will be restored at the Monte Pasubio and Carso stops, so as to limit them to two (San Benedetto and Lunga ) the stops not served.

The extra-urban line 153 (serving the areas of Villafranca, Roncadello and Barisano) will instead be diverted to via Cadore for the entire period of the works, to guarantee uniformity of service times.
