There are some habits that, let’s face it, most motorists really struggle to break away from, relieving them of a routine rooted in everyday life.
Often, to tell the truth, it isn’t even outright rudeness, as is largely evident when there are no, so to speak, conditions of ‘impelling’.
We are talking about the (bad) habit of many, many people relating to parking vice incorrect and, in this case, of the parking lot too close to other cars.
First of all we should ask ourselves if this is true constitute a crime: and then, if this were the case or not, what are the conditions under which it appears, in any case, as a true one lack of education.
The fact is that in our cities traffic does not only concern the phase in which cars, and all other vehicles, are on the move: there are so many vehicles around that parking is often a miracle.
Parking too close, you don’t have to just do it
We often see a hole, even a very narrow one, and we squeeze in even if the conditions to do so are difficult, difficult, just as it becomes almost impossible to get in and out of the car: but maybe it’s the only free place which we found after a long search and we don’t want to let it escape. But how does the person in the next car get in and out of her, what if we are too tight?
This is the case that presents itself before our eyes every day, every time we park our car too close to another. Is it a crime? There law is clear about it and there is a risk fine of 170 euros. The Highway Code talks about it explicitly inArticle 157 in which explains the details of the parking and stopping of vehicles.
Here’s what the rules really say
In short, the car must be parked leaving a space of no less than 3 meters wide, cso as to allow the passage of a row of vehicles and in any case must allow the driver and passengers of the adjacent cars to pass be able to adequately enter your car.
And if this rule is violated, as we said, one is foreseen fine between 42 and 173 euros but be careful: you can even end up in criminalwith the accusation of private violence, if this action is accompanied by violence, abuse, threats or coercion towards other people who would be forced by our behavior to tolerate abuse or omit some rights. In this case yes they risk 4 years in prison.
