What future for electric cars?

Years ago I remember writing a small piece in which I talked about a service that was very popular in Silicon Valley at the time. Due to the lack of time available, many managers were unable to go to the nearest petrol station to fill up and often risked not arriving home in the evening.

In that area of IT ferment, a tanker was very popular which, with the help of an app and for a large fee, took care of refueling parked cars whose owners only had to leave the fuel door open. A few years later, when the Valley began to be populated with Teslas and other electric cars, more or less the same app was used to call a van overloaded with hyper-fast batteries to recharge parked cars. I don’t know what future the electric car will have and I would have a thousand arguments to argue that its life will be short. A well-known German car manufacturer whose logo has four circles has just presented the top version of one of its large SUVs. As an “addition” to the already excellent services there is also something similar to what was experienced in San Francisco. Some vans will be available in large Italian cities ready to “rescue” customers in the event of flat or almost flat batteries. In this case, however, the suspicion is that little by little we are starting to understand that in Italy there are very few places where you can recharge your electric car and not that managers have little time to dedicate to charging… the conclusions are yours.
