Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) he remains in the Maglia Rosa as leader of the general classification.
The stage winner Andrea Vendrame, immediately after arriving, he stated: “I had this stage as my goal since the beginning of the Giro. It was important to get into the day’s breakaway, I managed myself from there. I attacked downhill, taking risks, I saw that I had a good advantage and I continued to push. It’s a special emotion because I won close to home.”
