BRA This year too Bra is active for the environment by participating in Spazzamondo. This is the largest collective waste collection campaign in the province of Cuneo which since 2021 has involved municipalities, citizens, associations, schools and local companies to demonstrate their commitment to taking care of the environment.

The event, organized by the Crc foundation, is scheduled for Saturday 25 May from 9 to 12. A waste collection kit including t-shirt, gloves and collection bags will be distributed to all participants. The meeting point is in Piazza Arpino.

In recognition of the students’ participation in this important initiative, the foundation will distribute to schools a voucher for the purchase of school equipment based on the number of participating classes (from 1 to 5 groups 300 euro voucher, from 6 to ten 600 euro and 900 for even larger attendance).

Also awarded will be the 9 municipalities that will participate with the greatest number of citizens and will take the most beautiful and significant group photograph of the day. They will be divided into three categories: with a population of less than 500 inhabitants, between 500 and 3 thousand inhabitants, or greater than 3 thousand inhabitants.

This year for the first time, thanks to the collaboration with Coldiretti, Confartigianato, Confcommercio and Confindustria, the 4 companies that involve the greatest number of employees will also be rewarded with a work of art dedicated to the theme of environmental sustainability.

All citizens of Brai will be able to take part in the initiative by registering online on the dedicated website www.spazzamondo.it by May 23rd.
