XDefiant: Ubisoft makes fun of players who don’t score points

XDefiant is now available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series And PCwhile fans highly praise the lack of skill-based matchmaking, others are mocked for their inferior performance in multiplayer matches.

After receiving several beta tests throughout 2023 and 2024, the highly anticipated first-person shooter from Ubisoft it finally launched earlier this week. The beginning was rather difficult, as the title immediately gave serious connection problems at launch. Luckily, things started to improve and, within 24 hours, players were exploring all that XDefiant has to offer to the FPS genre.

The game’s lack of skill-based matchmaking is a pleasant change compared to titles like call of Duty, which basically punish you with 3-4 bad games for one good one. However, it’s not all rosy for XDefiantas fans believe weapon leveling is absurdly slow. If you want to max out your weapons, don’t expect it to be like in COD, because XDefiant requires quite a bit of work.

But while you’re engaged in this grind, make sure you’re ready for some good-natured teasing from Ubisoft if you don’t meet their standards.

On Reddita user showed how Ubisoft he lightly teased him about his own performance. In a post on XDefiant’s Reddit, Reddit user Vince_- he said sarcastically: Thanks for making me feel specialbefore showing a screenshot of his recognition he ran around at the end of a multiplayer game.

Other users then commented, noting that this is not an isolated case, since Ubisoft seems to make fun of gamers all over the world in a fun way. In my first game I sucked and got ‘made an appearance’, another user said in response.

Many other players have noted that they have received recognition such as moral support, made an appearance, helped, is present, and many others. So if you happen to have a relatively bad match, don’t be surprised if you see XDefiant joking about late-match performance.
