Yesterday, May 23rd, we celebrated the “Legality Day”an anniversary commemorating the victims of the mafia, 32 years after Capaci massacrein which the judge lost his life Giovanni Falcone, his wife and the police escort. For the occasion, the Police Commissioner of Caserta Andrea Grassi participated in the meeting organized at the school “Lener” by Marcianise with the students, highlighting the value of memory, in entrusting the ideals of legality and justice to future generations. At the event, in which the figures of Giovanni Falcone And Paolo Borsellino as servants of the State and victims of duty, the Institute’s Headmaster was present Anthony Amendolathe Mayor of Marcianise Anthony Trumpet and two State Police Agents, daughters of victims of duty, who brought their experience and testimony.

On the topic of legality and the memory of the victims of the mafia, the Vicar of the Police Commissioner of Caserta attended, in Sparanise, the naming of a public space after Rosario Livatino, a young magistrate murdered by the mafia, to whom a commemorative stele was also dedicated. In recent days, however, at the “Melzi” palace in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, the Police Commissioner, as part of the “legality days”, participated in the conference organized by the Department of Law of the “Vanvitelli” University, where speakers Lucia Borsellino and Antonino Salvia, children of victims of organized crime.
