The Grand Tour of the Marche 2024 has begun, including over twenty events, from May to December, to immerse yourself in the region with the plural name. Food and craftsmanship at the center of the Grand Tour experience, but also space for culture, landscape, outdoor activities and unusual experiences. Eight months of immersion in the most absolute authenticity, symbolically setting sail from the magnificent tourist port of Marina Dorica with the official ‘launch’ by the president of the Marche Region, Francesco Acquaroli.
In fact, Tipicità in Blu is the event that, from the Marche capital, starts the Grand Tour 2024. It then continues with GustaPorto in Civitanova Marche, Enosophia in Sant’Elpidio a Mare and Brodetto Show in Porto Recanati, for a very intense month of June .
In July the Frasassi Experience and the Montappone hat are the protagonists, while the famous olives of Ascoli take center stage with Ascoliva in August, together with the mussels of Pedaso with the renowned national festival dedicated to the tasty mollusk and the trout with the
Verdicchio in Sefro.
The Gourmet City of Senigallia offers itself to the greedy and curious public in September together with the Grappolo d’oro of Potenza Picena and the renewed guise of EVO in Macerata, with contemporary languages. It will be a very rich October, then, for the Grand Tour, starting from the Alte Marche Experience, the sauces of Montecassiano and Leguminaria in Appignano. Also not to be missed is Typicality & Archeology in Monterinaldo.
The pink apple of Montedinove opens the November of the Grand Tour, followed by Appassimenti Aperti in Serrapetrona. The year ends with Le Terre del Tartufo in Pieve Torina, as well as the events dedicated to cavallucci in Cingoli and nougat in Camerino. And it doesn’t end here, because further special events and pop-up initiatives are also planned which will enliven the long 2024 GT season to dive into the essence of the Marche region.
First surprise initiative? Aperitif Macerata, from 31 May to 2 June.
The Grand Tour of the Marche is promoted by the organization of Tipicità and Anci Marche, in collaboration with the Marche region and the scientific partnership of the Polytechnic University of the Marche.
