Attack on Iovino, Fedez: «But what a massacre, afterwards he went dancing in Ibiza. I was not there”

Fedez denies having taken part in the beating of personal trainer Cristiano Iovino, which occurred on the night of April 21st in via Marco Ulpio Traiano in Milan. Iovino achieved notoriety for allegedly dating Ilary Blasi, thus ending up in the case of the TV presenter’s separation from Francesco Totti. Two witnesses, a security guard and the doorman of the residential complex in via Traiano, who witnessed the attack by a group of AC Milan ultras against the 37-year-old, declared that Fedez was also among them. The personal trainer then did not press charges and refused to be taken to hospital, stating that he did not know who had hit him. “I wasn’t there, and you can’t see anything on the camera,” Fedez said now from the Turin Book Fair, where he is a guest on a panel on the mental health of young people with the national president of the Order of Psychologists, David Lazarus. «There is talk of nine people who massacred one person, all AC Milan ultras. The person is attacked, the ambulance arrives but is not taken to hospital”, said the singer and TV personality, “everyone talks about a massacre, but if this person was not taken to hospital there is no medical report and he didn’t report it, what are we talking about?”. And he then downplayed what happened: «Moreover, shortly afterwards he went dancing in Ibiza. If it wasn’t for my name there wouldn’t be any news.” In recent days, in addition to the two testimonies, there was also talk of a fight in the nightclub between the rapper and the personal trainer over a blonde girl, later identified as Ludovica Di Gresy. Iovino would have addressed the girl, photographed with Fedez, in an inappropriate manner and some AC Milan ultras and a trapper would have been involved in the fray. So much so that it required the intervention of the venue’s security staff. Then the attack in Via Traiano, which investigators suspect may have been a punitive expedition.

Selvaggia Lucarelli’s attack

«On the one hand there are the young people who have priorities and want to participate, on the other the press that deals with the bullshit that Fedez does at night and you haven’t understood that they don’t give a damn. It would be appropriate for the press to review his priorities and not play at being an influencer”, concluded the rapper addressing the public and journalists. Before going to the Turin event dedicated to publishing, he had joked on Instagram: «Were you talking about me? See you soon at the Book Fair”, aware that the latest news on the matter would catalyze the attention of the media. And precisely because of his participation in the Turin event, he had also received a jab from Selvaggia Lucarelli. «I wanted to ask the president of the psychologists’ association David Lazzari who holds meetings with Fedez aimed at young people on the other hand about the rapper’s profound skills on mental and physical well-being», he asked ironically, «if he will also address these very current issues with him. I imagine that it will be good for young people to talk about it with such a virtuous example, in terms of social interactions.”
