The electoral challenges in the municipalities of Friuli Venezia Giulia are now outlined, called to the flight between 8 and 9 June. An administrative round that goes hand in hand with that of the European elections, which will invite numerous communities to renew their mayors and municipal councils. Looking at the Lower Friuli area of the so-called historic Gorizia area, our eyes are focused above all on Aquileia, which sees the outgoing mayor Emanuele Zorino propose himself again with the Aquileia viva list as he did five years ago. Battle at the polls also in the nearby one Third of Aquileia, where the outgoing Giosualdo Quaini will be challenged by Daniele Milocco. For the first, the 12 names on the Democratic Project list are: Serafino Antonuccio, Lidia Boccalon, Rebecca Cabas, Francesco Contin, Gioele Contin, Michela Donda, Fulvio Furlanut, Michela Gabas, Ornella Moro, Enrico Stafuzza, Andrea Tomasin, Cristina Zambon. On the other hand, the Civic List for Third row: Elisa Bazzo, Rinaldo Bidut, Massimiliano Boccalon, Serena Boccalon, Giorgio De Colle, Matteo Fornasin, Massimo Girotti, Valentino Guiotto, Mauro Maricchio, Patrizia Pacco, Tomaso Perozzi, Paola Polo.
Instead, it’s a three-way challenge as far as it’s concerned Campolongo-Tapogliano, where Alberto Urban seeks an encore with Progetto comune. Running together with him: Katia Battistella, Francesco Bearzotti, Angelo Beltramini, Alessia Bernardi, Susanna Bigaran, Albertine Laura Greco, Federico Monti, Susi Morettin, Giovanni Branco Peric, Franco Santamaria, Michele Simonutti and Elisabetta Spinelli. Erica Papa (We Can Change) and Gabriele Gregorat (Common Perspective) challenge him. In the neighbourhood Aiello del Friuli, the duel is within the outgoing majority, where the mayor Elena Cecotti (Rinnovamento) and her deputy mayor Mauro Ongaro are back, supported by the civic Liberamente Insieme. Cecotti will have the support of: Sonia Simeon, Alessandro Cernecca, Enrico Galloforte, Giorgio Massolin, Giovanni Bighiani, Jessica Rametta, Katia Venica, Stefania Simeon, Veronica Virginio and Vincenza De Ciccio. Ongaro runs with: Alfea Banello, Lara Bernardis, Manuela Barzellato, Alberto Zuccolo, Andrea Urizzi, Massimiliano Simeon, Maurizio Abbatematteo and Roberto Minigutti.
TO San Vito al Torre, the electoral battle promises to be lively after the period of administration of the Municipality. There are four lists in the field for two mayoral candidates: Simone Cian and Gabriele Zanin. The first, former councilor in the previous administration, will have Vivere Crauglio Nogaredo San Vito and Rinnovamento on his side, while the second – former opposition group leader – lines up the civics Still together and Building the future.
