Evil is part of the world, it fascinates us and repels us. But how is it told? The meeting with the writer, screenwriter and television host Carlo Lucarelli on Friday 10 May at the IAAD. for “Add dialogue to your design”, in dialogue with Andrea Bozzo, will have as its theme the evolution of the representation of evil starting from major news cases, between words, images and communication channels, seeking the meeting point between the emotional aspect and the objectivity of the facts.
“Add dialogue to your design” is an original series of face-to-face meetingsconceived and promoted by IAAD., with some protagonists of our time, leading talents in different fields of research and professional practice: for them, combining creative experience with the value of dialogue is, at the same time, a necessary and an essential duty.
Dialogue is one of the five founding values of the IAAD identity, one of the key concepts that the Institute of Applied Art and Design adopts to represent, define and communicate its role and the trajectories of its cultural and educational commitment. In the field of design, dialogue becomes the silent orchestrator that weaves the development of the creative process and guides the final result. “Being IAAD.” it means believing, as well as in dialogue, in the values of imagination, courage, culture and respect.
