A thirty-seven year old man is dead in a road accident on via Prenestina this morning, Thursday 9 May, shortly after four o’clock. The impact occurred between a Fiat 500 car and a Yamaha motorbike in the area of Prenestino villagenear theintersection between via Prenestina Nuova and via Prenestina. The thirty-seven-year-old was rescued and transported in serious condition to the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, where he unfortunately died shortly after arriving at the hospital. The dynamics of the accident are still to be clarified.
The area of the accident was limited by the local police, who arrived at the scene of the collision together with the ambulance. The driver of the car, a twenty-nine year old, was subjected to tests to check for alcohol and drugs in the blood. With the victim of the road on Prenestina there are about fifty victims in 2024 since the beginning of the year in the territory of Rome and its province. The officers of the local police of Roma Capitale intervened for the investigations with the patrols of the IV Tiburtino group.
