A 41-year-old man was hit and killed by a car along Milan’s eastern ring road (A51) at dawn on Thursday. The tragedy occurred in the stretch between exit 7 Rubattino and exit 8/8a Sp 103 Segrate Lambrate, heading north. Medical personnel arrived at the accident site at 5.21am with two crews. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the life of the 41-year-old pedestrian. The regional emergency emergency agency sent an ambulance and a code red medical vehicle to the scene.

The Assago traffic police officers were also present for the investigations. At the moment we do not know the dynamics of the accident or why this person was on foot on that stretch of road. According to initial information, he is a person of foreign origin. Traffic along the thoroughfare remained blocked. Milano Serravalle, the body that manages Milan’s ring roads, explains that at 7.30 there was a queue of over 8 kilometres.
