“Fratelli d’Italia distances itself from the behavior of the Councilor of the Municipality of Cisterna Pasquale Del Prete. The choice to join a council together with the Democratic Party and the 5 Stars is unacceptable for us because we have sidereal positions with respect to these parties and because we have made commitments with the Italians that we intend to respect”. The Fratelli d’Italia deputy and coordinator of the party in Lazio, Paolo Trancassini, declared this in a note. “I would like to remind everyone, absolutely everyone, that Fratelli d’Italia sits in opposition in the Municipality of Cisterna, carrying forward our programs and our battles. It is not possible to be part of a council and at the same time have the membership card of an opposition party, especially if that party is the Brothers of Italy. To date, however, Del Prete is not a member of our community of patriots. His membership expired in December 2023. I am sure that, without changing the conditions, his possible membership request for 2024 would be rejected and reported to the national party” concludes Trancassini.
