“Upon arrival in Vasto the situation was almost disastrous. Vastese was abandoned to itself without any prospect of a future. The first action of the new company was immediately aimed at rebuilding a team that had now been dismembered due to all the events that had occurred at a management level. Furthermore, as soon as we took office, we literally received a rain of disputes and payment requests from various players and coaches (not yet completed). This diverted some of the new company’s attention to managing ongoing litigation. Despite this, the company continued with the objective of recreating a “team group” and giving Vastese the opportunity to close the championship by retaining the category two days early (which seemed almost impossible to most).
As we declared upon arrival in Vasto, we are planning next season with precise objectives, working on relationships and inclusion and taking into consideration any valid proposal that can give added value to this glorious society.
We want to thank our people fans which were there both in moments of joy and, above all, in less beautiful moments. It is our intention to meet them as soon as possible to share new ideas and projects.
Another important piece will concern the youth sector, an element in which we firmly believe and from which we want to start again. In this regard, we take this opportunity to thank Lucio Rulloa competent person with great footballing value, who has shown his trust in us since the first day we arrived.
The real resource, however, were the athletes who arrived in the second round of the championship and those who decided not to abandon ship, great men before they were footballers. Their skills were enhanced by an extraordinary technical staff, certainly of a higher category than what one usually expects to find in Eccellenza.
Last but not least, we thank you the Municipal Administration with whom we established ties right away. In fact, also thanks to the support of the latter, we have managed to carry forward this project in an area that can still give so much. Precisely on the basis of the relationships created with the Administration, and with the same awareness of the sacrifices made by the current club, we believe it is possible to do much more, starting from bringing the Aragona stadium to new life.
After thanking you, we want to renew our commitment to the marketing and brand relaunch Vastese. We are designing and developing with the utmost attention activities and initiatives that we hope will bring new prestige to Vastese, with innovative campaigns to propose to our current and future partners.
