The Village comes to life – City of Castenaso

Who were the Villanovans? What do we have left of them? What jobs did they do? And what was their house like? These are just some of the questions that come to mind when thinking about the Villanovan civilization.

The answers are at the MUV, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May “The Village comes to life”!

SATURDAY 18 MAY 8-11 PM EUROPEAN MUSEUM NIGHT:
ONE NIGHT IN THE VILLANOVIAN VILLAGE

Villanovan night camp with demonstration of ancient crafts.
In the Museum, ceramic, Etruscan writing and weaving workshops in collaboration with the historical re-enactment association Legiones in Agro Boiorum and the Hellenic Community of Emilia Romagna and guided tours with the archaeologist.

SUNDAY 19 MAY 3.30pm-6.30pm
Villanovan camp with demonstration of warrior dressing and demonstration of ancient crafts by the historical re-enactment association Legiones in Agro Boiorum. 4.30pm free guided tour of the Museum.

Greek cuisine food stand organized by the Hellenic Community of Emilia Romagna, Saturday and Sunday from 7.00 pm
