After the flood that destroyed the historic headquarters of Villa Montalvo last November Tiziano Terzani Library of Campi Bisenzio is reborn with the “Diffuse Library” project. Three new locations in the historic center that will make i library services accessible to the population again: the Small library for girls and boys housed in the Teatrodante Carlo Monni, Bibliobus in Piazza Fra Ristoro and Bibliomuseo at the Archaeological Museum of Gonfienti.
The three new branches of the widespread library
The Little Library for girls and boys, girls and boys will be active at the Teatrodante Carlo Monni, set up specifically for children and embellished with murals by Nicole Becker. It will be open on Mondays from 2pm to 7pm and from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm: loan registration, loan and return services for children’s books, return of books, magazines and DVDs borrowed from Villa Montalvo will be available. interlibrary services, workshops and activities.
The library point at the Archaeological Museum of Gonfienti it will be open during the museum’s opening hours: registration, loan and return of books from the bibliomuseum and activities will be available here.
Finally the Library bus, located in Piazza Fra Ristoro, it will host the adult fund and will be open on Mondays from 2.15pm to 6.45pm and from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.15am to 6.45pm: registration, book loan and return services and an interlibrary service will be available.

The cultural rebirth of Campi Bisenzio
Today, on the occasion of the presentation of the “Diffuse Library”, readings were held for boys and girls aged 4 to 7 in the Little Library and the creative journey “At the theater as inside a film” with Fiamma Negri and Giusi Salis in the Bibliobus.
The project was made possible thanks to donations and support from citizens, associations and public bodies including Corriere Fiorentino, La7, La Nazione, Anci, Fondazione CR Firenze, Regione Toscana and Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo, as well as the Municipality of Florence which temporarily donated the Bibliobus.
