The 74-year-old from Recale who first punched his daughter in the face, then attempted to stab her and finally tried to run her over with an apecar, was arrested in flagrante delicto for aggravated personal injury and persecutory acts. According to what the 38-year-old reported to the carabinieri of the Macerata Campania station, who intervened on the spot, the attack, yet another, would have arisen from the fact that her father would not have metabolised the end of the marriage between her and her ex, and, above all, he absolutely did not accept that she, a few months ago, had started a romantic relationship with another man.
The latter attack took place late yesterday afternoon in Recale, on Via Municipio, near a bar where the woman was in the company of her new partner. The 74-year-old, who arrived on the scene with an apecar, as soon as he saw her daughter with her new partner, first began to rail against her and then punched her on the nose. Not happy, he pulled a knife from his pocket and attempted to hit her. It was only thanks to the intervention of some passers-by that the man did not succeed in his intent. The police who intervened on the scene, at the victim’s request, interviewed the people informed about the facts and viewed the footage from the video surveillance cameras in the area which allowed them to verify what the woman said. In the complaint, the victim reported other episodes of aggression suffered at the hands of her father starting from the month of March, i.e. since she began the new relationship, which caused her to suffer a serious and persistent state of anxiety and fear, causing her to change her life choices and habits. The 74-year-old, tracked down within 48 hours of the incident, was arrested and placed under house arrest on the orders of the judicial authorities.
