A fire malicious damage to the Dill’s service area, in the Mongolfiera shopping area Leccekept the firefighters busy for a long time during the night.
The alarm went off around 1.10am: a team from the Lecce Fire Brigade intervened in the shopping center area due to a fire that had broken out inside the Dill’s petrol station.
The investigations
An action carried out by unknown persons who poured flammable liquid on the entrance threshold of the technical room, where the pump supply control devices are located. The initial fire that developed caused only minor damage to the structure.
The extinguishing work carried out by the Fire Brigade prevented further damage to people and things. At the moment, an investigative activity is underway to trace the perpetrators of the gesture.
